Since past few days there were some serious discussions on RBI over Loan Waiver Scheme. Today RBI has sent out clear instructions over this shared mixed results in the political circle. Both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments are in shock over these decisions.
RBI has given instructions to reschedule the loan in only 120 mandals spread in 4 districts of AP and various mandals in 3 districts of Telangana. RBI shared detailed information which they used for this decision. RBI confirmed there is no drought situation in AP and Telangana as per reports of both state in last year. Even it set many conditions as 3 years rescheduling period and the loans should be in between last year April to October only. It also confirmed the limitation of this scheme as one lakh without considering gold loans, as gold loans are not part of this scheme as per RBI.
The latest news from RBI created critical situation to TDP and TRS parties who are in power. RBI has taken strict measures in providing their decision by providing justifiable reports to AP and Telangana.
Now both the governments are in search of alternatives to benefit the people.
