Whatever the situation might be, drinkers' love for alcohol is inevitable and nothing can break this. Be it lockout or pandemic outbreak nothing can sustain before it. A recent incident proved it right.
Going into detail, people rushed to the liquor outlets which in turn resulted in a massive rush and queue lines in the Kakinada town of Andhra Pradesh creating many fears and concerns about the virus spread.
Liquor lovers rushed to the outlets as the liquor shops will be closed for the coming 24 hours as some local leaders urged the government to impose a complete lockout on every Sunday to contain the virus spread.
Fearing that they might not get their hands on liquor for the next 24 hours, liquor lovers headed to the outlets like anything. Forget about social distancing, people in the queue didn't even care much about wearing a face mask.
During the times of ongoing pandemic spreading its wings, the public has to take an active part in following the guidelines issued by the government. If not, the infections will keep on increasing no matter how many measures the government takes.
