Liquor Lorry Overturns, Drinkers Have a Feast

It was a field day for all liquor lovers. A huge quantity of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was flowed on road when a container lorry transporting the liquor bottles overturned on Wednesday at Coimbatore. Driver of the vehicle lost the control and hits electric poll before the lorry overturned.
The truck transporting liquor bottles to chennai from the godown of a manufacturer in Narasimhapalayam . The eager crowd had gathered at the scene of accident minutes after the lorry overturned and tried to take advantage of the situation to loot the liquor.
The people passing by were seeing looting the alcohol from overturned truck. The situation was such that the bike and car riders stopped their vehicles to grab liquor bottles.Goods worth over Rs.40 lakh were destroyed and the driver and cleaner of the vehicle were injured. The police arrived on the spot after the alcohol was heavily looted by people passing through.
