Lockdown Extended In Singapore Till 1st June

This marks the start of the second phase of lockdown which was supposed to end by the 4th of May. Singapore Prime Minister Lee Lung announced that keeping in mind the situation, the lockdown is extended.
Earlier, the Singapore government has permitted some schools and areas to function post-May 4th. But now the permission given to all these areas and schools were canceled.
9,125 positive cases of novel coronavirus were reported in Singapore, while 1,111 fresh cases were reported on Monday itself. The official data reveals that most of the cases were of migrant laborers.
