Lockdown Restrictions to be eased in eight districts of Andhra Pradesh

After the meeting, the government announced that lockdown restrictions will be eased in eight districts- Anantapuram, Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram.
Starting from 1st of July, the relaxations would be given from 6 AM to 9 PM. Night curfew will be in place from 9 PM to 6AM. The relaxations were given in these regions as the positivity rate remained below 5 percent.
On the other hand, the restrictions would remain same in the districts that have more than 5 percent of positivity rate. The lockdown restrictions will be imposed from 6 AM.
The restrictions in the respective districts will be active from the 1st of July to 7th. Lockdown restrictions will be eased in the ares with lesser positivity rate.
