Lok Sabha approves GST Bill with 443 AYES

Goods & Services Tax (GST) Bill was passed by Lok Sabha after conclusion of the debate on Monday.
Before the Voting began, AIADMK staged a walk out protesting the GST Bill. All the 443 Members present in the Lok Sabha voted in the favor of the Bill.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured that GST Bill will end Tax Terrorism.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley promised to keep Tax under GST at a minimum workable rate.
Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said: 'GST passed by both the houses. Victory for the peopel .Reform Perform Transform. MODIs mantra taking the country forward'.
While AP MPs demanded Special Status, TRS sought a grant of Rs 10,440 crore from Centre as a compensation for GST Bill.
