Lokesh getting an image makeover?

Who after Chandrababu? This question is haunting the TDP these days. With over 71 years of age, Chandrababu may well stand down in 2024. So, who will don his mantle? It appears, Lokesh Babu is working hard to step into his dad's shoes.
Stepping into Chandrababu's shoes is no easy task. He has worked very hard and honed his skills over the decades. He had learnt from all his experiences. But, the same could not be said about Lokesh. Party position and leadership were handed over to him on a golden platter. But, he has failed to make his mark. To top it, his defeat from Mangalagiri has affected his career graph the hardest manner possible.
His speech was faulty and there were pronunciation-related and other issues with Lokesh. A section of media and the social media handles began lampooning him. Even his own party leaders and cadres had a low opinion about him.But, all that seems to be a thing of past. Slowly Lokesh is improving. He is taking up leadership and is now working hard to improve his image. On several issues such as unemployment, cancellation of SSC and intermediate exams, he had shown his mettle. He had also showed his proactive attitude when Engineering student Ramya was done to death. He was the first to call on Ramya's parents.Now, even the YSRCP seems to be taking him seriously. They too are taking his comments with lot of precaution. Quite a feat for someone who was derisively called Pappu.
