Lone MLA Not Part of Jana Sena Delegation To Governor
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 July 2019 9:25 AM GMTPawan Kalyan has become active these days. At least once in a while, he is coming to Amaravati, making some noises, gives some statements and is going back to Hyderabad. But, some of his moves are raising suspicions about the future of the Jana Sena itself. What will happen to its lone MLA in the assembly.
Interestingly, when Pawan Kalyan led a delegation of the party to meet with the newly appointed Governor, Vishwa Bhushan Harichandan, lone MLA Rapaka Varaprasad was conspicuous by his absence. The delegation had Nadendla Manohar and actor Nagababu. Why was the lone MLA left out? Did he opt out or did the party keep him out?
Rapaka is unsure of his political future in the Jana Sena. He tried to join the YSRCP, but YS Jagan had told him in no uncertain terms that he has to resign his MLA post if he wanted to join the YSRCP. So, Rapaka stayed put in the Jana Sena. But, at the same time, he is giving enough indications about where his heart lies. His speeches are pro-YSRCP and he is backing any proposal that the YSRCP is bringing forth.
Interestingly, Pawan has appointed Rapaka Varaprasad as a member of the party's political committee. But, Rapaka is not being given any importance. So, Rapaka too is reciprocating by being cool to Jana Sena activities. Otherwise, why would he give a miss to the meeting with the new Governor? As a matter of fact, he was very much in Vijayawada when the delegation met the governor. So, what is Rapaka's status in the party? Is he trying to leave the party or is Jana Sena trying to push him out?
