MLA among 6 Killed in Lorry-Nanded Express Collision

About six people including a Congress MLA from Karnataka got killed when a Lorry collided with a coach of Nanded Express at a level crossing in Anantapur district in the wee hours of Monday.
The impact of the collision was so huge that Five Passengers travelling in H1 Coach of Bengaluru-Nanded Express and the Driver of the Lorry died in the accident. 20 Others sustained Injuries as two other coaches derailed.
Reportedly, The Driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into the passing Express train at the level crossing at Madakasira in Penukonda mandal.
The deceased include Congress legislator AA Venkatesh Naik from Karnataka. He is representing Devadurg assembly segment in Raichur district.
