Lost Rs 2,200 crore, Compensate It!: Telangana

Deputy CM Mahmood Ali and Finance Minister Etela Rajender brief Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh over the financial assistance to be provided to the state.
Hyderabad alone lost Rs 1,157 crore out of Rs 2,202 crore due to the rains. The Death Toll in Telangana stood at 46.
Upon having a look at the detailed report submitted by Telangana Government, Rajnath Singh assured Central Teams would visit the state soon to assess the damage. Centre will sanction financial assistance based on these reports.
T-Ministers also met Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu to seek his co-operation in this matter. He was informed about the badly damaged roads in Hyderabad and other parts of the state.
