Love Birds attempt Suicide at Taj Mahal

In a shocking incidents, Two Lovers (A Hindu Boy, A Muslim Girl) slashed the throats of each other using blades on Wednesday. This bizarre suicide attempt took place at the Taj Nature Walk which is just few metres away from the Taj Mahal.
Rajveer Singh who is from Dehradun and Shabnam Ali, a native of Karbala in Agra, took the extreme step out of frustration as both of their families refused to accept their love for each other. The Guards at Taj rushed the couple to a nearby hospital after spotting them in a pool of blood. The Girl was seen holding the hand of her lover when they were taken into an operation theater and the man tried to calm her.
Mr. Singh told the Additional City Magistrate who recorded his statement that all their attempts to convince their respective families failed just because they belong to a two different religions. Police said they will lodge a case under sections of Attempt to Murder on the couple.
After coming to know about the incident, The Girl's Family reached hospital and told they objected marriage just because Rajveer Singh is unemployed. However, Rajveer rubbished their claims.
