Finally, Singer Madhupriya ties the knot

Telangana young folk singer Madhupriya finally got married. She tie knot with her lover Sreekanth despite her parents' disapproval. The wedding was held at the Kalyana mantapam in Sirpur Kagaz Nagar on Friday evening.
The folk singer's parents tried to dissuade her and advised her to focus on her career and urged her to postpone her marriage for six months. But the singer was stubborn and determined to get hitched with her lover only.
Earlier, Srikanth's parents approved their love and fixed the wedding at Vasavi Gardens, Sirpur Kagaznagar this morning at 11.20 am. But the marriage was halted by parents of Madhupriya and allows police to involve in the matter.Police and Madhupriya's parents tried to counsel the young lovers
DSP of the district intervened and counselled family members and offered protection to the couple. DSP said since they are majors one cannot object to their marriage.
