Madhuri Dixit Won't Be BJP Candidate

The other day, There were reports of Madhuri Dixit becoming a strong contender for BJP MP Ticket in 2019 Elections. A BJP Leader told that Party Leadership is considering the Bollywood Actress for Pune Lok Sabha Constituency. Amit Shah meeting Madhuri in May this year to explain her about the progress achieved under NDA Rule has only made public believe that there is something fishy.
However, Madhuri Dixit's Spokesperson has brushed aside the reports in circulation - 'It's speculative and false'. Looks like, The Actress either wants to continue her film career for few more years or she doesn't have any political aspirations.
Madhuri Dixit made her debut with 'Abodh' in 1984. Films like 'Tezaab', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Beta', 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun', 'Dil', 'Dil To Pagal Hai' and 'Devdas' made her the Top Actress of Hindi Cinema.
Madhuri stayed away from arch-lights after marrying US-based Indian Doctor Sriram Madhav Nene. She made her comeback with 'Aaja Nachle' in the year 2007. 'Bucket List' (2018) which released this year marked her debut into Marathi Film Industry. She have few Bollywood Projects (Kalank, Total Dhamaal) in the pipeline.
