Sensational Judgement of Madras High Court

Madras High Court has delivered a sensational judgement regarding the farm loan waiver Today. This verdict brought a big smile on the faces of lakhs of farmers.
It is known that Farmers have been staging a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi since the past 23 Years seeking waiver of farm loans citing the severe drought. They even threatened to kill themselves by cutting their throats if their demands were ignored.
At this juncture, A petition seeking waiver of farm loans was moved in Madras High Court. In view of the drought condition, High Court recommended waiver of loans obtained by the farmers from the Cooperative Banks. Farmers and Associations backing their protest has welcomed the historic verdict of the Madras High Court. Even farmers of other states might move the courts in a similar fashion for waiver for loans.
