Maggi controversy hits top actress

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit landed in a soup for endorsing food product Maggi. Maggi is under scrutiny for high content of lead and monosodium glutamate. Samples collected by Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration were reported that maggi contains Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) more than the permissible limits.
As Madhuri is endorsing the maggi Food , Drug Administration department has sent notice for the actress asking her to explain how Maggi is good for health. Dixit have to respond within 15 days . If the actress fails to respond to the notice within the stipulated time frame, a case could be registered against her.
Meanwhile the manufacturers of maggi, Nestle India has denied the claims made by Food Safety department.
