Maha Kutami Is Winning In Telugu Media

If you read some of our Telugu newspapers, it appears KCR is on his way out and that he is all set to be defeated at the hustings. This section of the media doles out stories that the Maha Kutami is set for a major victory in Telangana and that the Telugu Desam Party is playing a key role in cobbling up the coalition against the TRS. This media also is peddling stories that say that the people are going to overwhelmingly vote for the Maha Kutami.
But wait!! Successive surveys by different media organizations and agencies are telling a different story. From the beginning, these survey organizations have been saying that the TRS will cruise comfortably in the elections. Even the recent India Today survey says that KCR remains the most popular CM with 75 per cent approval ratings across the state. Similarly, the TRS is being shown to win back at least 70 seats and form the next government. Though the candidates might get lesser majorities and the contests could be closer, the TRS is still ahead. The general mood is pro-TRS. Not just that, the anti-TRS mood is dissipating mainly because of the Maha Kutami rumblings over ticket sharing and seat adjustments. But our pro-TDP media continues to peddle stories that say that Maha Kutami is all set to win. They are peddling negative stories to show that the mood is in favour of the Congress led Kutami.
But, the verdict will be out on December 11 and the Yellow Media may have lot of answering to do on that day.
