Mahakutami: TDP Gains, Congress Loses?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Nov 2018 6:18 AM GMTThe dominant Reddy Community always remained loyal to the Congress Party. In Telangana, Congress used to command the support of over 50 percent Reddys Voters. Much to the shock of the National Party, Most of them have been distancing it since the formation of alliance with arch-rival TDP.
Reddy Community seems to be gradually moving closer to the TRS. Telangana CM KCR began offering more prominence to the Reddys, Promised Separate Corporation for the Community & Responded on the murder attempt against Jagan in an appreciable manner. Meanwhile, Few Pro-Reddy Channels have been conveying that Chandrababu Naidu has been influencing Mahakutami more than that of Congress.
All these factors have been making Reddys reach a conclusion that better if they support TRS rather than the Grand Alliance. They fear their Community will have to suffer if Mahakutami which is being guided by Chandrababu Naidu comes to power. A conclusion was drawn that TDP gets benefited from Mahakutami, not Congress.
