By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Oct 2014 3:48 PM GMTThe exit polls have been predicting Narendra Modi-led BJP is going to emerge as the single largest party in Maharashtra General Elections 2014. Out of 288 Assembly Seats, BJP might either get full majority or fall short of the magic figure by few seats.
Opinion Poll by Cicero for India Today Group:
BJP: 121-145 seats; Shiv Sena: 57 seats; NCP: 33 seats; Congress: 30 seats.
Opinion Poll by Hansa Research for The Week:
BJP: 154 seats; Shiv Sena: 47 seats; Congress: 25 seat; MNS: 10-12 seats; Others: 25 seats.
Based on the Exit Polls, We could come to an opinion that Shiv Sena will be the biggest loser for not forming alliance with BJP which is likely to form the next government in Maharashtra. It was Narendra Modi who will be having the last laugh as the seats of saffron party grew multiple times compares to what it was in 2009 (46 seats).
