Maharashtra Surpasses China With More Than 85,000 Cases

Maharashtra which is the worst-affected state in the country due to the pandemic made yet another record and even surpassed Dragon Country China in terms of the positive cases.
In the past 24 hours, Maharashtra reported 3007 fresh cases which take the toll of the positive cases in the state to 85975. With this, the state overtook China which has 84,191.
On the other hand, 3,060 people have succumbed to the dreaded virus in the state so far which is the highest for any state. As of now, 39,314 patients recovered from the virus.
The active cases stood at 43591 who were being treated in various hospitals. Mumbai alone has a total of 25940 active cases raising many fears and concerns about the spread of the virus.
On the other hand, the cases in India surpassed 250,000-mark with more than 9000 cases reported in the past 24 hours making it the highest urge of the cases so far.
