Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a very special caption, under whose captaincy, the Men in Blue earned three ICC trophies, which no other Indian captain managed to pull off.

Dhoni, who impressed the fans for 16 glorious years, earned many awards and records across the formats. Mr. Cool led the Indian team to number one position for the first time in the ICC Test rankings in 2009.

Now Dhoni made one more record under his name. He went on to become the highest-earning player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a salary of 137 crores.

Dhoni will also reach another milestone in the next IPL season, by becoming the player to earn Rs 150 through IPL, making him the firts0-ever player to do so.

The CSK management has cleared the airs of Dhoni bidding goodbye to IPL. They said Dhoni will lead the team for two more seasons and there is no doubt about that.

After Thala, Mumbai Indians Skipper Rohit Sharma and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli entered the 100 crore club with 31.6 crores and Rs 126.2 crores respectively.
