Mahesh Babu on track for Fourth Hit

Mahesh Babu is posing a threat to Balakrishna's name as Sankranthi-Hero. Till now, the actor has four releases for Sankranthi and out of them three films were highly successful. Films like 'Takkari Donga' (2002), 'Okkadu' (2003), 'Businessman' (2012) and 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' (2013) have been released in the Pongal season.
As per the reliable sources, Mahesh Babu is once again eyeing the Sankranthi slot. The release of his upcoming flick '1 - Nenokkadine' has been scheduled for release on January 10, 2014.
Critics say, If Mahesh scores a hit with 'One' it will be his fourth hit of the season else remains as a second flop in his career. Another added advantage of scoring success with 'One' is that Superstar will be the first hero to deliver hits for three consecutive years ('Businessman' (2012), 'SVSC' (2013), 'One' (2014) during the Pongal period.
Sukumar teamed up with Mahesh for the first time to deliver a stylish action thriller. Kriti Sanon is making her debut as female lead. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music. 14 Reels Entertainment is producing it on a grand scale.
