Mahesh Skips Query On Special Status

Mahesh Babu has been promoting 'Bharat Ane Nenu' aggressively in the Telugu States. While he was interacting with audience at a theatre in Tirupathi, The reaction of Superstar was sought on the denial of Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. He, however, choose not to respond on the question.
Koratala Siva who witnessed the who thing tried to downplay the disinterest shown by the Actor saying it wasn't the right place to talk about such issues. He assured Mahesh would respond while being on a bigger stage.
Guntur MP Galla Jaydev who is accompanying Mahesh during the promotional tour said it's not time to talk about politics. He, however, maintained State Government is fighting against Centre and sought people's support for the battle.
Recently, Samaikyandhra Sadhana Samithi president Chalasani Srinivas questioned, 'Why Stars like Mahesh Babu who hail from Andhra don't speak about Special Status, when Telangana Actor Sampoornesh Babu is extending support to the movement? We will issue an ultimatum to the Telugu Film Industry soon'.
