Mahesh turns down Gona Ganna Reddy

Speculations have been doing rounds that Mahesh Babu is playing a cameo role in Gunasekhar's historical film 'Rudrama Devi' and a popular tabloid even reported about the injury suffered by Anushka after she failed to dodge a sword that was thrown at her by Superstar while shooting a sequence.
However, a clarification has come from Mahesh's close circles quashing the reports of cameo role in the movie. They indeed confirm, Gunasekhar approached the actor for the role of Gona Ganna Reddy who is a Kakatiya Ruler but the offer was turned down by him citing his busy schedule as the reason.
Mahesh Babu's calender is completely full for the year 2013 with film assignments and multiple endorsements. He has been shooting for '1 - Nenokkadine' since the fast one-and-half month in London and this schedule will continue till August 20th. Soon after this, he will be moving to Srinu Vytla's racy entertainer 'Aagadu' and caters the few days of free time between the schedules for his family. As a result, Making him accept cameo roles isn't an easy job!
