Fire Reduced Basti to Ashes in Vijayawada

A major fie accident took place today at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh state and four people were killed in the mishap while several others injured. The accident took place in flower market area near Vijayawada railway station after fire broke out when a cooking gas cylinder got burst.
As per eyewitness fire broke out after gas leaked from two cylinders in the thatched houses and spreaded to nearby areas .Over 150 huts in a Basti were completely burnt into ashes and families left with nothing in hand.
Fire engines reached the spot and trying to bring the fire under control. Ministers from the district Devineni Uma, Pattipati Pulla Rao and Narayana visited the victims and assured them with the support from government.
