West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee dared to describe BJP as a cockroach dreaming of becoming a peacock by putting on its feathers. She opined BJP was able to win in Tripura Assembly Polls because CPM surrendered and Congress reluctance for alliance. 'The result could have been different had if Rahul Gandhi came forward to form alliance with TMC and local parties. There is nothing to rejoice as Tripura is a state with 26 lakh voters and 2 Lok Sabha seats. Difference in vote share is just 5 percent,' adds CM.
Didi predicts disastrous result for BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. She also feels good results in the North East States doesn't guarantee victory for BJP in the upcoming Assembly Polls in several states. 'BJP concedes defeat in Karnataka, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. In Gujarat, It's a moral defeat for the National Party,' says the Firebrand.
