Mamata Banerjee Mourns The Death Of Her Close Aide

All India Trinamool Congress party founder and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suffered a big loss in 2021 by losing her close aide who worked with her for more than four decades.
Manik Majumdar, who is said to have handled many tough situations within the Trinamool Congress party breathed his last on Saturday. He has been undergoing treatment for quite some time reportedly.
It has been widely reported that Manik Majumdar is not keeping well as he has come in contact with the Covid-19 a few weeks back.
West Bengal Chief Minister took to Microblogging site Twiter to condole the death of her colleague and remembered her memories with him and said they will miss him deeply.
"I am deeply saddened and pained to have lost a dearest colleague of over four decades, Manik (da) Majumdar. His ever-smiling face at my office in Kalighat, where he worked diligently and quietly, will be deeply missed by us all," her tweet read.
