Mamata Banerjee's net worth is â¹ 16.72 lakh says her affidavit!

Ahead of the highly-anticipated forthcoming West Bengal Assembly elections, Trinamool Congress supremo, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee aka Didi submitted her Affidavit of Disclosure of Assets and Liabilities to the Election Commission of India.
According to the affidavit filed by Mamata Banerjee, her net worth is Rs 16.72 lakh. The Chief Minister doesn't even own a vehicle or property. Before the 2016 elections, Didi's assets valued at â¹ 30.45 lakh. Didi got an income of â¹ 10,34,370 for the year 2019-20.
Her affidavit says, Mamata Banerjee has a bank balance of Rs 13.53 lakh and her election expenditure account has an amount of â¹ 1.51 lakh. Mamata Banerjee has an amount of â¹ 69,255 in hand, she also has deposits worth â¹ 18,490 with the National Saving Certificate (NSC).
The Chief Minister owns nine grams of jewelry that worth Rs 43,837 and the for the financial year 2019-20, her tax deducted at source (TDS) receivable is Rs 1.85 lakh, the affidavit said.
Mamata Banerjee has written several books, including her autobiography, My Unforgettable Memories, and AnaÅana kena. For her books, Didi received a royalty of Rs 930.
No criminal cases are pending against Mamata Banerjee. She owns an LLB Degree and has an MA Degree from the famous University of Calcutta.
Accepting the BJP's challenge, Mamata Banerjee submitted her nomination papers from the Nandigram constituency. She will contest from the constituency against Suvendu Adhikary, who was once a TMC leader.
Mamata Banerjee was allegedly attacked during her campaign in the Nandigram constituency. She was admitted to a hospital and undergoing treatment for her bone injury.
