West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee turned her Twitter display picture black on the first anniversary of the Demonetisation. 'I have turned my Twitter DP black #DeMoDisaster. Let us raise our voices #Nov8BlackDay,' she wrote on her Twitter handle Today.
Mamata Banerjee described Note Ban as a huge scam and it's meant to convert black money into white money. She opined, Note Ban isn't intended to unearth or curb Black Money. It will be proved that Demonetisation was announced with vested interests If a thorough investigation is conducted.
Didi is one of the Chief Ministers in the country who have been firmly opposing the policies of NDA Government. She didn't even approve the Goods & Services Tax.
Along with Congress & Left Parties, Trinamool Congress observed November 8th as a Black Day because of the hardships faced by the people. Rallies have been organized across the Nation to highlight that note ban is a big failure.
