These are Corona times. Everything is under a lockdown now. But, even lockdown restrictions cannot stop weddings from happening. A groom literally cycled all the way from his home village in Hamirpur to neighbouring Uttar Pradesh to get married. Know the distance he travelled on the bicycle? 100 km.

Yes. Kalku Prajapathi of Pauthiya village in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur cycle his way to Puniya village in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh for his marriage. He started his journey in the early hours of April 27 and reached the venue late in the night. He married the girl the next day. The bride-to-be is identified as Rinky. Ironically, there were not many people to appreciate his feat. No guests were allowed and no baraat could be taken out due to the lockdown. The marriage was conducted in Baba Dayanidas Ashram. After marriage, both the bride and the groom cycled their way back. Even his groom's parents got to see the girl only after she was brought home. They too could not make it to the wedding venue due to the lockdown.

For both Prajapathi and Rinky is is a memorable marriage. Conducted amid lockdown with no guests and the groom has travelled all of 100 km to meet his would-be wife. Interestingly, their first travel together too was on a bicycle.
