Mandali as AP Deputy Speaker

Former Minister Mandali Buddha Prasad is likely to the deputy speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly. He filed his nomination for the post and he is going to be elected unanimously as he was the only one to file the nomination.
Mandali Buddha Prasad is representing Avanigadda Assembly constituency. He joined TDP just before the 2014 Elections.
Although Gollapalli Surya Rao was the first choice for Deputy Speaker, Chandrababu Naidu preferred a Kapu Mandali in the last minute to send the message that Kapus were given top priority.
Kalva Srinivasulu has been appointed as Government Chief Whip
Yamini Bala, Chintamaneni Prabhakar, Mallikarjuna Reddy and Kuna Ravi Kumar will be acting as Whips.
