What's So Special? AP Is Just One Of The States!

Endowment Minister Manikyala Rao reiterated BJP is committed to develop Andhra Pradesh. He went on to say AP has been treated as a special case in crucial matters.
Manikyala Rao: 'Funds have been denied to AP Capital as State Government failed to submit DPR. Not TDP, Only few of its Leaders are saying injustice has been done to AP. They haven't gone through Budget Records and hence such comments were made by them. Nitin Gadkari has clearly assured Centre will cooperate for completing Polavaram. Funds allocation won't be delayed. We have fixed a deadline of two years to complete Polavaram'.
When quizzed why AP wasn't treated as special case, The Minister downplayed it by saying it's just one of the many states in the country. He added, 'Even Andhrites will get benefitted from farmer-friendly budget and healthcare scheme extended to 10 crore families'.
Mr.Rao opined there will be a clarity on allocations for AP after sometime. 'We gave funds for Polavaram and Amaravati. Did other States receive such benefits? Needless to focus on those TDP Leaders who sought end of alliance…few people get irritated upon watching news,' he shot back at critics.
