'The Accidental Prime Minister' is meant to tarnish the reputation of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Government which was in power from 2004 to 2014. Theatrical Trailer of this biopic stirred a huge controversy.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut certified Manmohan Singh as a successful Prime Minister. He feels calling someone like Manmohan Singh as an accidental PM doesn't made any sense as he ruled the country for a decade and people respect him even Today.
