Mann ki Baat: On The occasion Of Festival, PM Urges To Be 'Vocal For Local'

During the address, Modi said, earlier people used to gather in large numbers in Durga pandals, which looked like a fair. But, we cannot celebrate the festivals as usual. As more festivals are to be celebrated, we need to maintain low celebrations.
He batted for Vocal for local and urged the public to purchase local goods from markets.
Talking further, the PM said we should remember our brave soldiers who are guarding our borders. He urged people to light a lamp for the brave sons and daughters of the country.
Narendra Modi wished everyone on the occasion and appealed to follow the Covid-19 protocols while celebrating the festivals like wearing facemasks, washing hands, and maintain two yards distance.
