CM Who Is Handling Administration From US

An Indian Chief Minister has been running the government from USA. Could you believe it?

Reportedly, Goa CM Manohar Parrikar is suffering from pancreatic cancer which is in the advanced stage. He left to US for undergoing treatment in the first week of March. The treatment gonna last for a minimum of six weeks. Still, CM didn't transfer any of his powers to cabinet ministers.

Before leaving to US, Manohar constituted a 3-member Cabinet Advisory Committee comprising of Senior Bureaucrats to guide him on administrative issues. Whereas, The final decision will be taken by CM only. All the 20 portfolios including Home and Mining remained with Parrikar and he is holding cabinet meetings through video conference.

On February 14th, Parrikar complained about stomach pain. Initially, It was assumed to be due to some food-poisoning and then CMO maintained he was suffering with pancreatitis. He was discharged on February 22nd but got hospitalized again on February 25th. Finally, CM was diagnosed with cancer on March 1st.
