Along with Nandyal, By-Elections took place at few other states recently and even the counting is being done Today. Counting of votes in Nandyal, Bawana (New Delhi), Panaji and Valpoi (Goa) began at 8 AM on Monday.

In Goa, CM Manohar Parrikar won the Panaji by-poll with a majority of 4,,803 votes. He served as Defence Minister until the Goa Assembly Polls in which BJP failed to attain magic figure but formed the government with the support of few small parties. Had if he faced defeat in the by-election, Parrikar would have been Union Minister again.

Even the Balpoi by-election was won by BJP. Health Minister Viswajit Rane emerged as winner by defeating Congress party's Roy Naik.

AAP had the last laugh in Delhi's Bawana by-election. By-Poll happened because AAP MLA Ved Prakash resigned and joined BJP. He, however, faced defeat contesting on BJP Ticket against AAP's Ram Chandra.

In Nandyal by-poll, TDP's Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy is leading with over 18,500 votes by the end of 10th Round.
