Manoj bags Dada Saheb Phalke award

Veteran Actor-cum-Director Manoj Kumar to be conferred with the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award for the Year 2015. The 47th Dada Saheb Phalke Award will be presented to him for his outstanding contribution to the Indian Cinema.
MIB India Twitter handle confirms the development: "Veteran Film Actor Shri Manoj Kumar to be conferred Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2015".
The 78-Year-Old was known for his roles in films such as Hariyali Aur Raasta, Kranti, Who Kaun Thi, Purab Aur Paschin, Himalaya Ki God Mein and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan.
Government of India honoured Manoj Kumar with National Film Award for the movie 'Upkaar'. In 1992, He was conferred with the Padma Shri.
Fans of Manoj Kumar were happy to see their matinee idol receive his due recognition at last.
