After having a look at Union Budget 2018 and the manner in which TDP Leadership has been responding over the injustice being done, Many of the Ruling Party Leaders have a clear picture of how the trends gonna be in next elections. They could no more ignore the growing anti-incumbency in the state. In such a situation, Several Leaders have been considering YSR Congress as an only alternative.
Defections to TDP from YSR Congress continued until 2018. Over 20 MLAs and three MPs had shifted loyalties for reasons known best to them.
