Naxals have been observing the movements of MLA Kidari since the past two months. As many as 120 to 130 Maoists took part in the operations. They have been divided into 3 Groups. While one batch was at Livitiputtu, The other batches were deployed at Kandrum and Guntaseema. They identified Livitiputtu as the best place to accomplish the mission.
