Maoists Reveal Why They Killed Kidari & Soma

Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and Former MLA Siveri Soma were gunned down by Maoists in the Visakha agency on September 23rd this year. Maoist Party Central Committee released a letter to the media explaining the reasons behind the assassination.
Naxals claimed they had punished Kidari Sarveswara Rao and Siveri Soma in the People's Court for Anti-Tribal Activities. 'Kidari and Soma admitted going against the interests of tribals for amassing crores. We warned them many times over the Guda Quarry. Still, They continued to repeat the same mistakes and favoured government which resorted to Bauxite Mining. Kidari and Soma were gunned down after they confessed all the wrongdoings,' said the Maoist Party Central Committee.
The assassination of Sitting MLA and Ex-MLA was an eye-opener for TDP Government. Opposition Parties opined this situation wouldn't have come had if Government took action on the illegal quarrying in the agency region.
