Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan made phenomenal contribution to infinite series, number theory, mathematical analysis and continued fractions inspite of lack of formal training.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg have announced their decision to form a foundation in the name of Srinivasa Ramanujan.
Russian billionaire Yuri Milner arranged a screening 'The Man Who Knew Infinity', which is a biopic of Srinivasa Ramanujan, to the tech-heads at the Silicon Valley. Around 50 personalities who are among '1 percenters' of Silicon Valley were at Yuri Milner's house in Los Altos for the screening. Most of them got very emotional towards the end and they had tears in their eyes.
Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire fame) played the role of Srinivasa Ramanujan who passed away at the age of just 32 in the year 1920. Ranabujan was a college dropout and worked as shipping clerk at the age of 25.
