Old Currency Exchange Limit reduced

Union Government Today reduced the exchange limit of old currency from Rs 4,500 per day to Rs 2000 to ensure more citizen get access to the new notes.
Centre Government Employees (Up to Group C Category) are permitted to withdraw Rs 10,000 of their November salary in advance.
After taking the complaints into consideration, Centre permitted people to withdraw Rs 2.5 lakh from their bank accounts if a Wedding is happening in the family. Only one Family Member is allowed to withdraw Rs 2.5 lakh if he/she shows the Wedding Card & Address Proofs.
Time Limit for paying Crop Loan Insurance Premium has been extended by 15 days. Farmers were permitted to withdraw Rs 25,000 per week.
Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das announced these restrictions and exemptions during Today's press conference.
