MBA Pass Out refuses Degree from Smriti Irani

Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani received a rude shock after an MBA pass out refused to accept his degree at the first convocation of Islamic University of Science and Technology in Kashmir from her in protest against the diminishing freedoms in India under NDA rule.
Gojwari wrote on his Facebook page: "Though, for a student, receiving a masters degree is no less than any prestigious award. But on October 19, (the Convocation Day) I Sameer Gojwari wont accept it".
In the wake of reports that Smriti Irani will be the chief guest for first ever convocation of Islamic University of Science and Technology on Monday, Gojwari's stand of not to accept the degree from the Union Minister garnered the Nation's attention. The Youngster reminds India's popular writers have returned some of their prestigious awards in the recent past for the same cause.
