Canadian Prime Minister Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was at the receiving end by entering India's domestic matters and extending support to the farmer's agitation against the controversial farm bills passed by the union government.

The Centre, which opposed Justin Trudeau's intervention in the issue once again found fault with his behavior and warned that this could damage the bilateral relations.

Reports claim that the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA) has summoned the Canadian High Commissioner over the interference of Canadian officials in India's internal matters.

In the statement, the comments of PM Justin Trudeau and other Parliamentary could hinder the bilateral relations between the nations.

PM Justin Trudeau took part in online interaction with Canadians from the Sikh community, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak (Gurpuruab) reacted to the farmer's agitation.

During the interaction, the Canadian PM said, they are receiving updates on the agitation. They are concerned about the situation of the farmers and their family members who are participating in the agitation.

This did not go well with the Indian government. The MEA hit back at Canada over the unwanted intervention. Center said such remarks are not accepted.
