Meaty update on Thalapathy Vijay's direct Telugu film

It's been nearly three decades since Kollywood star "Thalapathy" Vijay ventured into films. Over the years, he established himself as one of the leading stars, who can pull audiences towards movie theatres. He is the highest-paid actor in Kollywood now. He is famous in southern industries and almost all his films get dubbed into other languages.
Earlier, media reports are abuzz that, as a bid to expand his market further, Thalapathy is gearing up to do a direct Telugu film and Maharshi fame Vamsi Paidipally will helm the prestigious project.
According to the latest update, Vamsi Paidipally in his recent interview with a leading web portal confirmed the development that the project with Kollywood star is on and Dil Raju will bankroll the project.
The director went on to say that the much-awaited project will be announced officially, once the Corona situation gets under control. More details on the project are awaited.
Vijay was last seen in Master. He is currently busy with a project titled Thalapathy 65, helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The first schedule was completed in Georgia in April.
