RSS blames Media for hype on Hate Crimes
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 March 2017 12:42 PM GMTRSS Viswa Vibhag (Overseas Affairs) co-ordinator Sadanand Sapre blamed Media for creating hype over the few attacks against Indians abroad. He opined that it's the nature of media to exaggerate an incident.
However, Sadanand Sapre condemned the hate crimes against Indians on foreign soil. He stresses the need for preventing such incidents from happening. At the same time, He advises Media not to generalize the scenario based on few incidents.
Mr.Sapre recalls how each and every Indian was attacked and sent out of Uganda in 1960s during Idi Amin's regime. 'Is the scenario in America comparable to that? Definitely No! A lot of Americans are there to protect Indians,' says the RSS Functionary.
The RSS Office-Bearer points out few Indians were at fault in the attacks against them in Australia few years ago. He slams Media media for reporting each of those incidents as hate crimes against Indians for hype. 'Such stray incidents happen everywhere, even in India,' he maintains.
