Why Gali slashes Daughter's Wedding budget?

Media gave extensive coverage to the Engagement and Wedding reports of Gali Janardhan Reddy's Daughter Brahmini. Speculations began doing rounds that the Mining Baron will be spending close to Rs 250 crore for the Wedding Ceremony. These developments has drawn the attention of Income Tax department.

B Sriramulu, the trusted aide of Gali, appeared before media to condemns the reports saying hundreds of crores will be spent for Brahmini's wedding. 'Brahmini is like my daughter. We don't want the marriage to be a grand affair. It will be similar to how weddings in a middle-class family would be,' he informed.
When quizzed about the wedding invite, Sriramulu clarified its just an attempt to show some variety making use of the latest technology.
