AP Government is chalking out a plan to address the future needs of people living in the new capital region. Already, Permissions have been allotted to set up few educational institutions here. Some of the key decisions related to AP Capital were taken during Today's cabinet meeting.
State Government decided to establish a medical college, hospital and star hotel with an estimated budget of Rs 4,000. Apart from them, 100 acres were allotted for BR Shetty Medical Varsity. About 1.5 acres have been sanctioned for Amaravati Sub-Division PS.
Municipal Minister K Narayana informed that bids received on the designs of concrete structures in Amaravati will be shortlisted within two days.
CM Chandrababu Naidu wishes to complete the first phase of Amaravati by 2018 end. Many institutions will start functioning in the capital region before 2019 General Elections.
