Anil Bokil, a Pune-based chartered accountant, is a key member of financial think tank Arthakranthi Sansthan. He is the one who passed the idea of abolishing notes with Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denominations overnight without giving any opportunity for the Black Money holders to escape. Buzz is that Anil's meeting with Prime Minster Narendra Modi in July this year has brought this drastic change.
Speaking to media, Anil Bokil announces Government of India has taken a final call of scrapping currency notes with higher denominations only after several meetings. Prime Minister Modi & Finance Ministry have worked on the recommendations of Arthakranthi Sansthan for months. Few more recommendations suggested by Anil Bokil will be implemented soon.
