We Did Not Discuss Third Front - Kanimozhi
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 May 2018 11:23 AM GMTTelangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi Supremo, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, is trying to establish a new third front with fresh agenda. He announced that he will take TRS party to the National level in coming elections recently and started working towards it.
His agenda is to meet all the leaders from various states who are opposing current ruling party BJP and even some of the NDA partners who are not in entirely support of BJP and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He met Stalin, Kanimozhi from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, DMK, Tamil Nadu and Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday.
Kanimozhi talked to press at Chennai International Airport and said, "I, Stalin and KCR, talked about various State Development issues. We did not talk about third front.
We wanted to discuss and debate about the larger issues of how Central Government has been ignoring both our states. I express my deep dissatisfaction on how AIDMK Government, Tamil Nadu, is unable to demand anything from Centre."
Later, Akhilesh Yadav spoke at Hyderabad and said, "I am not going to Bangalore but going back to Lucknow. (Laughs) ... I am not supporting Congress or other National parties at the moment. We need a fresh outlook and small issues should be ignored to develop an agenda suitable for the Nation. I had a discussion with KCR and will have many more in future to make a strong alternative for people."
KCR spoke to media and said, "I am happy that in short notice of two to three months, many leaders from various parties found our invitation worth and replied to it in a positive way.
We are discussing on bringing out an unified agenda that will work all over the Nation and address all the issues perfectly. We have to ignore some minor issues in such a huge Nation but as a collective force, we can solve them too.
Soon, we will meet with many more political parties all over the Nation and announce our Agenda," concluded KCR.
