Who said I will join BJP?: YSRC MP

Post Nandyal by-election, Rumours have surfaced that YSR Congress MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy is all set to join BJP and he had already met BJP Chief Amit Shah.
Mekapati issued a clarification: 'There isn't even 0.0001 percent truth in these reports. I don't know from where these things come from. MPs of all parties were invited for dinner after M Venkaiah Naidu's election as Vice President. It was then Venkaiah introduced Me to Amit Shah, other than that we didn't discuss about any political issues'.
On the speculations that he wishes to join BJP as his family have various businesses in North India, Mekapati made it clear he won't use politics for making money.
Responding on buzz that BJP offered MP ticket him and MLA ticket for his son & Atmakur MLA Goutham Reddy in 2019 Polls, The Senior Politician said he isn't an opportunist politician by saying he quit Congress and joined YCP much ahead of 2014 Polls.
Mekapati opined TDP won Nandyal by-election through misuse of power and because of manipulation.
